Art And Essay Contest Winners
St. Mary School is proud to announce that sixth-grader Andrea Diaz Rodriguez and eighth-grader Maeve Mueller were winners in the 25th annual Respect Life Art and Essay Contest sponsored by LifeWorks Ohio.
The theme was “God created man in His own image.”
The students needed to express their belief in the sanctity of human life with special consideration to the expectant mother, preborn child, physically or mentally challenged person, the elderly or the terminally ill.
The entries were judged with the underlying idea that the protection of life from the moment of conception until natural death is a positive message.
Andrea won second place in the sixth-grade Art Division and Maeve won third place in the eighth-grade Art Division.
Both won monetary prizes and were invited to attend the LifeWorks Ohio Art & Essay Awards Ceremony where the winning artwork was on display. Congratulations.
