National Honor Society Induction

Berkshire High School hosted the 89th induction ceremony of the Berkshire chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) on Dec. 11. Current NHS members, staff and family members were present in the auditorium to celebrate the accomplishments of the NHS inductees for the 2025-26 school year, which included Izabella Bryndal, Katelyn Miller and Cheyenne Humes.

To be considered for induction into the National Honor Society, students must meet a set of rigorous standards, which includes a 3.70 overall GPA for consideration, before being evaluated on the four pillars of NHS: scholarship, character, leadership and service.

Art Across Disciplines

Eighty Berkshire High School upperclassmen visited the Cleveland Museum of Art last month for an interdisciplinary learning experience. Students explored Renaissance art while examining connections to English themes such as disillusionment and the American Dream, along with mathematical concepts found in art. The visit included a featured exhibition, a guided tour led by museum educators and a self-guided scavenger hunt, giving students opportunities to apply classroom learning in an authentic, hands-on setting.
