Fifty Years Brings the Berkshire HS Class of 1974 Home
The Berkshire High School class of 1974 returned home over Labor Day weekend from across Ohio and six other states for their 50th class reunion. The building they graduated from is now a film, television and commercial production company and their beloved football field is now privately owned.
Friday night kicked off the weekend as the alumni gathered one last time for their Friday night lights on the field they had won a conference championship during their senior year. Alumni and former teachers and coaches came together one last time to talk about the memories on the field. Saturday night they listened to music that fostered a reminder of their youthful memories, scrapbooks were shared, and a video streamed photos of memories from their school days together.
The 1974 alumni committee expressed their gratitude to all who attended, those who reached out but couldn’t attend, as well as to the local community, businesses and Berkshire High School for supporting their reunion event.
