Junior Selected For Entrepreneur Program

Congratulations go to junior Klarissa Lipstreu who was selected by the Geauga Growth Partnership to participate in the Hiram College Entrepreneurship Academy, Learning to Launch, June 22 25.

Klarissa and one other Geauga County student were chosen from the applicants for the GGP Summer Intern Program based on their explanation of why they should be selected for the program. Both students will be able to attend the four-day resident program and spend time developing the skills needed to conceive new ideas and business concepts and applying the skills they learn. They will participate in team competitions that will help further enhance their creativity, innovation, analysis and leadership talents.

Klarissa, who has aspirations for a creative enterprise, will enjoy the collaborative and interactive experience that she’ll gain to take a passion from concept to creation.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer the Hiram College opportunity to students who have aspirations of entrepreneurship,” states Geauga Growth President Tracy Jemison.

This is another way in which Geauga Growth Partnership encourages and supports the further education of our students by sponsoring and participating in several educational programs throughout the year.
