Kindergarten Orientation

The class of 2032 visited Jordak Elementary School for the first time on Aug. 8. During orientation, scholars were able to meet their teachers, see their classrooms and participate in a scavenger hunt to find all of the important places around the building, such as the restrooms, water fountains, office, cafeteria and specials classrooms. The school is excited to welcome in the newest pups to the Huskie family.

Stadium Construction

Due to the construction at the athletic facility around Moss Field, the area is now off limits to all individuals except those working on site. Fencing is up around the area while the construction company begins renovations. The fencing is for the community’s protection as the area is extremely dangerous with heavy equipment and materials being moved.

The school district understands that this is a highly traveled area for scholars who live in the Glen Valley neighborhood and for those who may have after school extracurricular activities, however, it does not want anyone to get hurt.

In addition, due to unexpected delays in the construction process, the first varsity football game against James A. Garfield on Aug. 30 will be held at Hiram College.

Cardinal looks forward to hosting its first home game on Sept. 20, which is also Hall of Fame weekend.
