Art Auction Benefits Valor Retreat
Cardinal Local School District participated in a recent silent art auction event to benefit the Valor Retreat at Ohman Family Living. Students in all three buildings, including seven from the high school, three from the middle school and 10 from Jordak Elementary School, donated works of art in support of the cause.
On Jan. 25, a silent auction was held and the artwork was sold to those who made bids. All proceeds benefit the Valor Retreat.
In addition to the auction, three students received monetary awards from Ohman Family Living, including Jonathon Z., Milanie, M. and Sara K. Jonathon will have his work on permanent display at the retreat. Cardinal is extremely proud of the students for the works they created for auction, and again, extremely honored to have been asked to participate.
