Students Place In FCCLA Competition

Cardinal High School senior Lawrence A. and junior Xander R. recently received silver standings in the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) competition for Auburn. A national career and technical Organization for students, FCCLA provides opportunities for personal growth and leadership in the organization.

As part of their studies at Auburn, students are required to participate in a career and technical organization (CTSO) and compete in competitions. Both Lawrence and Xander are studying culinary arts at Auburn, so both competed within that field. Lawrence participated in the Garde Manager category, which is a cold appetizer tray. Xander participated in the Pastry Tray category. Cardinal is proud of their work and congratulates them on their silver standings.
