A class of second-graders at Jordak Elementary School recently did a science experiment relating the relationship of plants to animals. Claire Zurbuch (aka Mr. Z) first showed the students a film he made on the connection of plants to animals. Then, the students did an experiment that explained why plants are so valuable to all animals. Green blocks represented plants, brown blocks represented plant eating animals and red blocks represented carnivores.
