Seventh-grader John Loving, right, was crowned the 2023-24 spelling bee winner. Loving made it into the 10th round by successfully spelling “fluke.” Eighth-graders Sydney Lehr, left, and Emerald Mena, center, were First and second runners-up, respectively.
