8th-Graders Explore Careers
Career Day is always an exciting adventure for Cardinal’s eighth-grade students each year. Counselor Emily Figliano works closely with the Geauga Growth Partnership to plan an informative day for students that gives them an insightful look into potential future careers.
Students spent the day traveling across the area, making visits to Gold Key, Tarkett, CNC Precision and the Geauga County Airport. At each stop, students heard from experts in the various fields the businesses represent and got tours of the facilities.
It is always a great experience for the students and the district is grateful to GGP for sponsoring the day and giving them the opportunities.
Multiplication Mastery
Third-graders in Mr. Mike Topalian’s class took advantage of a gorgeous day to practice multiplication facts outside. Students sat in a circle and “faced off” against one another to see who could answer the fact correctly first. The student who answered first got to move on to the next student and fact.
