District-Wide Senior Clap Out

It was a trip down memory lane for the class of 2018 on May 17. Seniors who wanted to participate in a district-wide clap out were able to walk through Jordak Elementary School, Cardinal Middle School and Cardinal High School one last time as students and staff cheered as they passed. Several elementary students made signs for the class of 2018 and passed them out to the seniors as they came through. It’s one of our favorite traditions in the district and it gives the younger students something to look forward to in the future. Best wishes to all of the graduates.

Grandparents Visit Jordak

JES grandparents ruled the school on May 3 and 4. The event included breakfast, photos from Lifetouch and the plant and book sales. Students enjoyed spending the extra time with their loved ones and were even able to show them around the building, too. The Flora and Ulysses decorations were huge hits and gave students a lot to tell their grandparents about. As a special treat, the third and fourth grade choir also performed for everyone. Thank you to the Cardinal PTA for once again hosting such a wonderful morning and to all of the family members who took time to come see the school.
