Perfect Attendance Awards

Seniors Jacob Villalta and Megan Maddox were recognized at the Senior Awards banquet on May 17 for having perfect attendance. Villalta received a certificate for one year of perfect attendance for the 2017-18 school year and Maddox received a plaque for seven years of perfect attendance. Her record begins with the 2011-12 school year, so Maddox has not missed a day of school since the sixth grade.

Both Maddox and Villalta plan to attend Hiram College in the fall.

Students had a lot of creative ideas, coming up with a Napoleon cannon, hot air balloon, mortar and a Springfield 1861 model rifle – among other things.
