Cardinal Welcomes New Employees
The Cardinal School District has had several staffing changes over the summer and is welcoming in more than a dozen new employees.
New teachers and certified staff members include: Renee Bell, JES counselor; Kristin Burt, CMS math teacher; Anne Dalby, CMS counselor; Jennifer Fekete, district math coach; Megan Karges, JES intervention specialist; Amanda Matchinga, CMS technology teacher; Danielle Moon, CHS science teacher; Andrea Quinones, CHS science teacher; and Jeff Throckmorton, CMS intervention specialist.
New classified staff members are Joanne Leichtman, CHS secretary; and Harold Adams and Kelly Wojtasik, bus drivers.
On the administrative side, Michelle Nizen is the new Jordak Elementary School principal; Bill Kermavner is the new Cardinal High School principal; and Kelly Antos is the new CMS/CHS psychologist. Former CHS Principal Jennifer Sabol is the new pupil services director for the district and several of the district’s current teachers have shuffled assignments for the upcoming year.
The district appreciates everyone’s patience as it navigates through the changes and looks forward to a fun, engaging and rewarding 2018-19 school year.
