Daddy Daughter Dance

Cardinal’s fifth and sixth-grade dads and daughters had a wonderful time at the Daddy-Daughter dance on April 7. The ladies and their fathers danced the night away and participated in a couple of fun games, including a lipstick contest.

A big thank you goes to CMS teacher Elisabeth Robinson for organizing the event.

Funds Raised for Leukemia Society

Cardinal Middle School students and staff love to give back. The middle school reached its goal of raising $1,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through the Builders Club Pennies for Patients campaign drive. A huge part of the success is because of seventh-grader Abigail M. for raising over $600 of the amount on her own. Congratulations to her and everyone who donated – it makes a difference.

CMS Paw Pride

Congratulations to the CMS Paw Pride winners for the week ending April 28: fifth-graders Bella Z. and Angelina J.; sixth-graders Owen V. and Troy D.; seventh-graders Abigail M. and Seth H.; and eighth-graders Chauna L. and Keshaun K. Great job everyone.

Ice Cream Social

As a thank you for supporting the levy, the Cardinal Local School District invites the community to join for free ice cream during the Kiwanis Fish Fry May 12 from 5-7 p.m. at Cardinal Middle School. All supplies for the ice cream social have been donated.
