CMS Dedicated Dozen

The second quarter Dedicated Dozen at Cardinal Middle School enjoyed a specially prepared breakfast the morning of Jan. 20. Each quarter, sixth-grade teachers recognize 12 students from that grade who have shown outstanding efforts in the classroom. Chef and math teacher Mike Whipple cooks up the morning’s delicacies.

Members of the second quarter Dedicated Dozen are: Audrey A., Noreen B., Kelsi C., Ana F., Mikaya G., Ava G., Maddie H., Nathan L., Hailey P., Matthew S., JR S. and Owen V.

Skits Provide History Lesson

History of the American Republic comes to life in Mr. Luke Kruse’s eighth-grade social studies class. Students are learning about the time period and have been challenged to present to the class their understanding of an event during this time.

College Credit Plus Night

Cardinal will be partnering up with Berkshire and Newbury schools to offer the College Credit Plus Information Night on Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. in the Berkshire High School gym.

The informational session is for any student currently in grades 6-11 who would like to take college classes during the next school year. It includes classes on the college campus, online or in the high school. Area colleges will be in attendance to answer questions about applying.

For more information on College Credit Plus, visit the Guidance page located in the high school portion of the district website.
