Speakers Sought for Career on Wheels
Chardon Schools is seeking volunteer speakers for the fifth annual Career on Wheels Day taking place May 6 from 10 a.m. to noon at Munson Elementary School.
Professionals whose careers involve vehicles are invited to participate, and bringing a vehicle is encouraged. Volunteers will be stationed in the school parking lot as students in grades K-3 rotate through in small groups to learn about different careers.
During each five-minute session, volunteers will share information about their career path, education and daily work, followed by a brief tour of their vehicle.
The event will be held rain or shine. In the case of severe weather, the event will be canceled.
