The Chardon Athletic Boosters is hosting its annual Night at the Races at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 2 at St. Mary Banquet Hall.

The Chardon Athletic Boosters is hosting its annual Night at the Races at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 2 at St. Mary Banquet Hall.

Proceeds help fund CHS and CMS uniforms and equipment.
Cost is 35 per person, $20 per horse, but wait there’s more: appetizers, dinner, desert, soft drinks and all the fun you can handle.

Bring your own adult refreshments.

Please consider attending this event to support CHS and CMS student-athletes and the group that provides so much to all Chardon High School and Chardon Middle School athletic teams.

Teen Vaping: It’s Not What You Think

 

Parents and students are invited to get the facts about the risks and health implications for teens Feb. 7, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chardon High School Library.

Opening remarks by Dr. Ellen Rome, Director of Adolescent Health, Cleveland Clinic, followed by a Q&A session with panelists: Dr. Rome, Chardon Schools administrators, Officer Carlson, Chardon Police Department, Missy Bell, Ravenwood Health Center and Chardon High School students.

 

LIVE TV & Internet Auction

 

The Chardon Schools Foundation will be on the air live on March 9 with the foundation’s annual LIVE Internet-G-TV Auction.

CSF members are actively soliciting donations for the event with the hopes of matching or exceeding past years’ success. This is the Chardon Schools Foundation main fundraiser of the year. Your support and participation are needed and appreciated.

All the LIVE Auction fun starts at 5 p.m. March 9 on G-TV, Channel 1020, Channel 1025 and the Internet (www.csfauction.org).

The fast and furious bidding will continue with boards introduced, revisited and then closed, with the final boards closing sometime around 10 p.m. Winning bidders will be emailed that night or the following late Sunday morning. All items may then be picked up at Park Auditorium on March 10 from 12-3 p.m.

CSF is still in need of fun, exciting, useful, practical, beautiful, functional items of all types and varieties. CSF members Chuck Rischar, Coco Griffis, Larry Reiter, Debbie Hofstetter, Kelly Misch, Jim Vinciquerra, Carla Gray, Jenny Kelly, Marty Greene or Dave Jevnikar are ready to pick up your donation at a moment’s notice.
