AC4P Students Work Together
On Feb. 28, students in the Actively Caring for People (AC4P) group from Virginia Tech University conducted a training session at the junior/senior high school for the Berkshire AC4P students. The purpose of the training is to help Berkshire students communicate and demonstrate acts of kindness for high school, middle school and elementary students.
The AC4P students at Berkshire have made cards for the students, families and community of Sandyhook, Conn. The purpose of the cards is to let them know there is ongoing support for them and to also pass on the message of AC4P and caring for others. Along with the cards, the students will be sending 26 of the AC4P wristbands to commemorate the memory of those lost at Sandyhook Elementary School.
Thank you to guidance counselors Miss Bagaglia and Mrs. Bakalar for organizing the activity and to all the students that participated. It is yet another example of the students’ ongoing caring and sense of citizenship and community.
