New Kenston Faculty
Kenston welcomes its new faculty members to the Kenston family. They filled positions created by retirements, resignations or extended leaves.
The district looks forward to the talents and dedication of its faculty and staff as they work to design lessons that are challenging, interesting and inspiring.
Bus Evacuation Drills
With the new school year underway, districtwide bus evacuation drills have been conducted. The bus evacuation drills are part of the safety and security drills that are conducted throughout the year for fires, natural disasters and lockdowns. The age-appropriate drills are conducted in conjunction with local first responders.
During the bus evacuation drills, students and bus drivers practiced three types of evacuation drills: exiting the back of the bus and exiting the front of the bus; half of the students exiting through the back door and the other half exiting via the front; and quickly moving to a place of safety 100 feet from the bus.
Friday Night Lights Tailgate
Join on Sept. 1 from 5-7 p.m. for a tailgate and pregame to honor local first responders. Mingle with friends and neighbors while enjoying food and family activities before the 7 p.m. kick-off against Chagrin Falls.
