Class Officers Elected

Kenston High School class officers were elected by their peers. Representing the freshman class of 2027 are Kaitence Paystrup, president; Kherington Swader, vice president; Kate Tobin, secretary; and Charlotte Syslo, treasurer. Representing the sophomore class of 2026 are Cullen Fehring, president; Devin Macsuga, vice president; Callen Buchanan, secretary; and Brendan Scheuer, treasurer.

Representing the junior class of 2025 are Charles Eibler, president; Addison Altmann, vice president; Reese Gabram, secretary; and Ben Fink treasurer. Senior class of 2024 officers are Maria Lioudis, president; Jack Beclay, vice president; Sean Tobin, secretary; and Martin Weber treasurer.

Kenston Center Stage

Kenston Center Stage announces the cast and crew for the fall play, “The Outsiders.” The play will take place at Kenston High School, Robert A. Lee Auditorium Nov. 9-11. The cast and crew are comprised of students: A. Altmann, S. Baum, D. Blogna, L. Denno, T. Hart, T. Hunt, M. Jaroch, C. Kapela, J. King, J. Kovalski, J.Link, E. McFadden, T. McKinney, K. Moore, W. Radefeld, L.Schmidt, J. Spencer, H. Stice, O. Stice, K. Tobin, A. Tobler, O. White and C. Witmer-Rich.

 Mark the calendar for the Kenston Middle School musical, “Nickelodeon’s The Spongebob Musical Youth Edition,” which will run Jan. 25-27.

The Kenston High School musical is “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” which will be performed April 11-13.

Homecoming 2023

Kenston’s homecoming parade begins at 6 p.m. Oct. 5. The parade will feature the Kenston band and drill team, building floats and individual participants. The theme is “Great Gatsby.”

The parade will begin in the high school staff parking lot. Please park between the middle school and intermediate school and view from the lawn of the middle school.

The Homecoming Friday Night Lights Tailgate Oct. 6 from 5-7 p.m. will kick off an exciting evening of football as Kenston takes on Riverside. The tailgate will be complete with food trucks and family activities.

The state championship baseball team will be recognized during the pregame program and the 2023 homecoming court will be presented during halftime.

Kenston Conversations
Join Superintendent Steve Sayers on Oct. 18 from 7-8 p.m. for the second session of Kenston Conversations in the middle school’s media center. Everyone is welcome to stop by and share a cup of coffee and conversation about Kenston Schools.
