Exploring The Great Outdoors
Fifth-grade students at Kenston Intermediate School are beginning a yearlong journey that encourages hands-on learning involving outdoor exploration as part of the Nature Scopes program funded by the Foundation for Geauga Parks. The program includes the study of Geauga County’s plants and animals, along with the study of the stars and constellations of the night sky in the Northern Hemisphere. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a pair of Bushnell binoculars, two field guides and a certificate of participation.
AP School Honor Roll
Kenston High School has been named to the Advanced Placement Program (AP) School Honor Roll. The College Board announced that Kenston High School has earned the gold distinction.
The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools that have done outstanding work to welcome more students into Advanced Placement courses and support them on the path to college success.
