On March 20, Kenston High School hosted the biennial Career Fair.

Career Fair at KHS

“Career Day really gave me a chance to experience a professional’s true thoughts and opinions about my future. It helped me decide what I plan on majoring in in college,” said senior Lindsey Szczesniak.

On March 20, Kenston High School hosted the biennial Career Fair. Over 50 local professionals, including Kenston alumnus Justin Highlander, shared their insight and expertise with students. Each student attended two 40 minute sessions.

“It was interesting to hear the speakers’ stories of what happens on the job and how they got to where they are now,” said senior Rachel Braun.

Thank you to the professionals who presented to our students.

Seussical the Musical

Kenston Center Stage presents “Seussical the Musical” at 7 p.m. April 11-13 and at 2 p.m. for a matinee performance on Saturday, in the Kenston High School auditorium.

All tickets are reserved and cost $14 mezzanine, $12 floor and $10 balcony/student seats.

As a special feature, on Saturday at 1 p.m., Seuss-a-palooza with crafts, reading and activities will take place for children 10 and under in the cafeteria.

“Seussical” is fun for the whole family. Performers will portray the characters from the familiar Dr. Seuss fables. Tony winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty have lovingly brought to life all of the favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo. The colorful characters transport theatergoers from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. The charming “Seussical” teaches the power of being unique and the importance of fighting for one’s beliefs.
