Center Stage Presents…

Kenston Center Stage presents a socially distanced version of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” on Nov. 19, 20 and 21, with performances at 7 p.m. and a 2 p.m. Saturday matinee on Nov. 19. The production will feature two alternating casts and crew comprised of the following students: Joey Bing, Dom Blogna, Valerie Brown, Skylar Cinch, Molly Cohen, Victor Como, Audrey Cowan, Leah Denno, Micah Greenberg, Sam Gulas, Lynae Hairston, Ashley Handwerk, Patrick Keane, Nya Ku, Mia Lioudis, Ben Millard, Matthew Pierce, Rebecca Preneta, Becca Rengers, Carley Riggins, Cailey Rogers, Emily Rolf, Jackson Rosneck, Claire Rottman, Nathan Snyder, Owen Stice, Jon Tatara, Lily Tatara, Adler Weber and Phillip Witmer-Rich.

An eclectic group of six area champion spellers vie for the coveted trophy that is to be awarded to the winner of the Putnam County Spelling Bee. The spellers make their way through a series of potentially made-up words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, un-life affirming “ding” of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller will emerge victorious. At least the losers receive a juice box.

Seating will be very limited for this production. Contact Julie Green via email at Julia.green@kenstonapps.org for tickets.
