Congratulations to Timmons Elementary School Students selected for Lunch Bunch honors in December. Kindergartners honored with “gratitude” awards were Brett Barkan, Leah DeLisio, Marcella Distad, Charles Hallisy, Ethan Lawrence, Madelynn Pritchard and William Szarka. First graders honored were Luke Fender, Kyle Latz, Collin Menary, Kendrick Richardson, Abigail Santore, Shirdon Shirdon and Maria Snider.

Second graders were Aiden Caspell, Zahar Foster, Dylan Gibb, Colette McIvor, Ryan Michlig, Corrina Shirdon and Ava Solak. Third graders were Keira Caprette, Madalyn Foerster, Morgan Myers, Ever Phillips, Ryan Pollock, Ellie Scaccia and Bianca Torusoglu.

KHS Students of the Month

Congratulations to Kenston High School students of the month for December. Selected for special recognition were freshmen Adam Farrell and Julia Warholic; sophomores McKenzie Bonnett and Nick Slezak; juniors Alyssa Kassouf and Brendan Roche; and seniors Mackensie Bush and Ryan Conover.

Holiday Cheer

The Kenston Instrumental and Vocal Music Department will deliever holiday cheer this holiday season. Concerts begin with the Kenston Middle School seventh- and eighth-grade choral concert on Dec. 5, the sixth-grade band and choral concert on Dec. 7 and the seventh- and eighth-grade band concert on Dec. 8.

The annual Kenston High School’s holiday concert featuring the high school choir, band and varsity jazz will take place on Dec. 12. The concerts will be held at 7 p.m. in Kenston High School’s Robert A. Lee Auditorium.

On Dec. 13, the fourth-grade music program, “Movin’ in the Right Direction,” will be performed at Timmons Elementary School at 7 p.m.

The concerts are produced under the direction of Mrs. Kathleen Bower, Mrs. Julia Green, Mr. Jeff Link and Mr. Scott Sell.

Silver Bells Holiday Boutique

Kenston’s High School Parent Teacher Organization is hosting the Silver Bells Boutique on Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kenston High School, 9500 Bainbridge Road. The show will feature over 80 unique local vendors, junior craft vendors, cookie sale and raffle prizes. The fundraiser supports Kenston AfterProm and sustainable energy projects at Timmons Elementary School.
