Sophomore Thomas Colosi, right, won the first-place prize in the annual Chardon Rotary speech contest on March 18 at The Lodge at Bass Lake. Impressed by his speech on social media, the Rotarians awarded Thomas $300. He will move on to represent NDCL at the district competition in Akron. A special thank you goes to NDCL speech teacher Leo Bond for his guidance and support.
