Five Newbury High School choir students were selected to perform in the Kent State University All Star Choir.

Five Newbury High School choir students were selected to perform in the Kent State University All Star Choir. Students participating were seniors Nicole Sigan and Ryley Gilbert, junior Owen Otto and sophomores Madisen Millward and Anita Sarkisian.
They spent time on campus Oct. 7 and 8 rehearsing under Dr. Scott MacPherson, professor of music and director of choral studies.
The group of over 170 musicians then performed in a final concert to showcase their work on Monday night in Cartwright Hall on Kent State’s Campus.
