Grandparent’s Day
With Grandparent’s Day being Sept. 11, Newbury Elementary School wanted to honor those integral, influential, important and special people in the students’ lives with breakfast. Students and their grandparents were invited to the school’s first Grandparent Breakfast, which included eggs, banana bread, fruit and juice.
The event was well attended and everyone enjoyed spending time together with loved ones. At the conclusion of breakfast, students were able to bring their grandparents to their classrooms, meet their teachers and see where all the learning happens.
