Homecoming and Spirit Week
Newbury Elementary School held its second annual Homecoming/Spirit Week pep rally on Oct. 21. The band led students into the gym where they listened to the band play and cheerleaders cheer. Then, Mr. Chaffee, the high school principal, introduced the senior fall sports players.
Earlier this fall some of our elementary girls participated in a cheer clinic. They also had the opportunity to perform some cheers and the dance routine they learned for all the students. It was a great way for the younger kids to see the pride and join in on the Black Knight homecoming festivities.
