Wet Labs Program Recognized
On Nov. 3, Newbury Elementary School was honored by Geauga Soil and Water Conservation for its Wet Labs Program and received the Outstanding Environmental Education Program Award. Newbury was chosen for their effort and commitment to the program, which has helped hundreds of students throughout the years to better understand and value Geauga County’s natural resources. The program would not be possible without the help and support of parents and community members.
NES Students of the Month
Congratulations to the September “You’ve Been Knighted” Students of the Month. They were recognized for showing the Newbury Elementary School’s N.I.C.E. character traits of integrity, cooperation and excellence.
