Kindergarten Orientation Meeting
There will be a kindergarten orientation meeting on March 8 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Children are eligible for kindergarten for the 2017-18 school year if they are 5 years old on or before Aug. 1.
Kindergarten registration and screening will take place on March 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call the elementary office at 440-564-2282 to set up an appointment time.

Children’s Choral Festival
Eighteen sixth- through eighth-grade junior high students from Newbury traveled to Whitehall, Ohio, on Feb. 25 to attend the fifth annual Columbus Children’s Choral Festival. Students participated in a full day workshop with world-renowned composer and conductor Rollo Dilworth. After learning concert repertoire under Dilworth, the 182-student choir performed a final concert at Yearling High School in Whitehall.
