Students “knighted” for February are: Luke Rivera, Joey Lubanovich, Delanie Clark, Austin Hart, Mason Rivera, Kendalyn Simpkins, Shain Gordon, Allyson Steimle, Kaylee Borries and Jillian Drabek.
Choirs Receive Superior Ratings
The Newbury junior high and high school choruses participated in the OMEA District VII Large Group Adjudicated Event held at Shore Middle School in Mentor on March 3.
Both the junior high and high school choirs received superior ratings on their performances, the highest marks possible to earn.
With this rating, the Newbury high school chorus has qualified to participate in the state large group adjudicated event. The choir will perform on April 28 or 29 at Highland High School.
