Alumni Return For Service Day
Volunteers from the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Alumni Association will be serving the Geauga County community on April 25 from 8 a.m. to noon at Santa’s Hideaway Hollow, 15400 Bundysburg Road, Middlefield. A group of alumni, students, family and friends will be assisting the nonprofit organization with various tasks.
Founded in 1981, Santa’s Hideaway Hollow is dedicated to working with seriously and terminally ill children and their families to provide comfort and support throughout the final stages of the child’s illness. Owner Bill Dieterle’s daughter Jordan is a 2009 graduate of NDCL.
Each year, the NDCL Alumni Association organizes two service days to support the local and greater Northeast Ohio communities in the spirit of advancing NDCL’s mission of educating leaders who transform the world, as Jesus did, by living the truth in love. Contact Steve Cavolo ’05 at scavolo13@jcu.edu to volunteer and for more details.

Senior Fine Arts Exhibit
Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School takes pride in its fine arts program and the talented students who develop their gifts during their high school years. On April 14, 25 seniors participated in the NDCL Senior Fine Arts Exhibited, which is hosted in the gallery of the Fine Arts building on campus. An array of artwork, including photography, ceramics, painting and drawing, was on display for many attendees to enjoy.
Senior Anne Schnell is the 2015 recipient of the NDCL Fine Arts Award. The award is presented annually to a senior for an artwork selected by the art faculty to become part of the NDCL Fine Arts permanent collection.
“Anne is very talented. She has produced many quality pieces and is dedicated to her craft,” shares Mrs. Mary Ann Sedivy, art department chair.
