Lenten Service Project
As the culmination to NDCL Lenten service project, students installed Step 2 play set for the youngest children at The Blessing House in Lorain. Founded by Sr. Mary Berigan, SND and Donna Humphrey, The Blessing House serves as a safety net for children of families in crisis by providing a temporary safe home for children and support for their families. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin students became interested in helping after participating in the Sisters of Notre Dame Summer Service Experience in summer 2015.
Teacher Appreciation Week
On May 9, students served coffee and pastry to NDCL’s faculty and staff. Student Council planned daily activities over the week in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week.
