NDES junior high science students spent the first weeks of school completing the marshmallow challenge. Science teacher Cassandra Long challenged all students to build the tallest freestanding structure using limited materials. This challenge incorporated basic engineering principles, utilizing the scientific method to develop problem solving and team-building skills.
Ready, Set, Go
NDES preschool children are off to an amazing start this school year. They spent their first days making nametags, making friends and sharing a Popsicle treat provided by the ND Parent Association.
