NDES Student Council members were inducted during an all school Mass on Sept. 21. Elections were held and all candidates in grades five through eighth prepared speeches and their goals for the upcoming year.
Happy Birthday, Johnny Appleseed
Kindergarten students celebrated Johnny Appleseed’s birthday with many activities. Johnny Appleseed was a legendary American who planted and supplied apple trees to much of the United States of America. Many people think that Johnny Appleseed was a fictional character, but he was a real person.
