Annual Christmas Boutique

On Dec. 9, the Notre Dame Parent’s Association hosted the annual Christmas Boutique chaired by Halle Worley and her fantastic team of volunteers. The time honored tradition at NDES offers a wonderful unique shopping experience for the children. Because of the outstanding efforts of parent volunteers, the children are able to shop for reasonably priced items for their family and friends and visit with Santa.

The Notre Dame Parent Association plans each year and offers a huge selection of gifts. The Sisters of Notre Dame even have a table, where all the proceeds of their sales benefit the missions.

Happy Birthday, Jesus

This past week, NDES students in preschool and grades K-4 held their annual Christmas program. The preschoolers re-enacted the birth of Jesus Christ while the first through fourth-graders performed “The Littlest Angel Choir” with a special performance from the kindergarten with songs such as “Happy Birthday Jesus.”

The Catholic family of Notre Dame Elementary School wishes you many blessings, peace, hope and love during this beautiful holy season.

Ride On The Polar Express

The kindergarten students at NDES enjoyed hearing “The Polar Express,” as read by “Elf” Sr. Julie Boehnlein, SND. Afterwards, all students received a special bell to take home.
