Power Of The Pen Winners
Eighth-graders placed third overall in the district competition of Power of the Pen at Andrews Osborne Academy. Individually, Briana Cowman placed second out of approximately 70 students and took home a trophy.
Power of the Pen presents a Best of the Best award for each of its three rounds of writing. Notre Dame swept the three rounds with Patrick Moorman, Briana Cowman and Antonia Mysyk taking home the prestigious awards.
Students are anticipating results to see who moves on to the regional competition at Hudson Middle School in April.
Library Popcorn Party
The first graders from Mrs. Pauline Miller’s class recently enjoyed a popcorn party in the library. They earned the reward because every first grader reached their AR goal for the second quarter. First-graders are super readers.
100 Days of School Celebration
Kindergartners celebrated the 100th day of school at Notre Dame Elementary School by dressing like they were 100 years old. The students had the opportunity to take part in several 100th day activities and even got to see what they may look like when they are older.
