Walkathon Raises Funds
On May 28, Notre Dame Elementary School held its sixth annual walkathon. Students in grades preschool through eight participated and raised over $37,000. Proceeds will benefit every child.
The walk began with announcements from the school’s walkathon experience winner, Elizabeth C. Morris, followed by a vibrant pep rally led by the NDES cheerleaders.
The school is truly blessed to have the tremendous support from its many volunteers and sponsors for the fundraiser.
Student Council Talent Show
NDES has talent. On May 28, NDES Student Council held its annual talent show, which was led by the student council co-presidents Chris Coates and Patrick McGraw.
More than 25 students from grades kindergarten through eight participated in various acts consisting of singing, dancing and playing instruments.
