Shearer’s Competition Finalists
On July 24, Shearer’s held their awards ceremony for the finalists in the Shearer’s Potato Chip Invention Competition in Massillon. Meghan Bhanoo was recognized as the first place winner for her YUM-brella and was awarded a $5,000 savings bond.
Courtney Thomas and Kate Petersen received a honorable mention and a $600 savings bond. Students enjoyed lunch and a tour of the Shearer’s factory.
New School Year Begins
On Aug. 25, Notre Dame Elementary School welcomed over 500 enthusiastic students. The school theme is “Christ for One Another.”
Throughout the year, students will share Christ’s love and be living witnesses to His message as He shines through our lives, words and actions. NDES looks forward to a great school year.
