Excel Exploration
Traditionally, Microsoft Excel is used for data organizing, number crunching and converting data into charts and graphs. However, at Notre Dame Elementary School, fourth-grade computer students are learning how to navigate their way around cells and tables of Excel by designing the Pokemon character Pikachu.
2nd-graders Create Communities
Second-graders are learning about suburban, rural and urban communities. They worked together on creating different types of communities out of shoeboxes using household and classroom items.
Future of Tomorrow
On Oct. 2, all NDES Student Council members were inducted during an all school Mass. Elections were held on Sept. 29 and all candidates from fifth- through eighth-grades prepared speeches that focused on their goals for the upcoming year.
