St. Helen Spelling Bee

On Jan. 12, students in grades 4-8 participated in the St. Helen School Spelling Bee. Each grade conducted a spelling bee during English class with the all school spelling bee competition being held after school from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Tara Barcikoski was the winner and will participate in the Geauga County Spelling Bee on Feb. 7 at 7 p.m.

Junior High Science Fair

Seventh and eighth-grade students at St. Helen School participated in the junior high science fair on Jan. 26. Students’ STEM projects were explained “live” to the 16 judges who awarded first place, second place and participation ribbons in each category.
