Robotics Club
Students in grades 5-8 attended their initial meeting of the First Lego League, where students are introduced to engineering challenges by building LEGO-based robots to complete tasks on a thematic playing surface.
Students, led by Mr. Ruggeri, engineer at Rockwell Automation, design, build, test and program robots using LEGO MINDSTORMS tech-nology. They apply real world math and science concepts and learn critical thinking, team-building and presentation skills. Students also have the opportunity to compete in robotic challenges.
