St. Helen’s Santa Shop

Thanks to the help of Melissa Joyce and numerous volunteers, parents transformed the parish meeting room into a magical Santa Shop. Volunteers spent countless hours setting up stations for students to shop, check out and wrap gifts. Items were priced from $1 to $3, so students could afford to purchase gifts for each member of their family.

During Thanksgiving break students were encouraged to help around the house to earn a little extra money for the Santa Shop and were advised not to buy for themselves, but rather to buy only gifts for others.

Mission Drive Raffle Winners

Students and staff at St. Helen School purchased raffle tickets for a chance to win three Build-a-Bears. Fifth-grade teacher Marie Dasch won the Cleveland Cavalier bear, eighth-grader Dane Berschig won the Ohio State bear and kindergartner Maddy Olderman won the Cleveland Browns bear. Proceeds from the raffle went towards the Sisters of Notre Dame mission project in India.
