The Lindsey Elementary Parent Teacher Association donated a picnic pavilion to the West Geauga Local School District during the 2016-17 school year. The West G Board of Education made enhancements to the structure over the summer that included a concrete slab base, siding, soffits, roof venting and landscaping. The structure is a nice addition to the Lindsey grounds.
The West Geauga Local School District Board of Education hired 18 new staff members for the 2017-18 school year. Of the new hires, 11 are teachers, four are support personnel and three are administrative staff. Pictured are 13 of the 18 new staff members hired.
According to Superintendent Rich Markwardt, “The new staff members bring many talents and skills to the West G team. They are welcome additions to our school community.”
