Senior Trash Pickup Days
The Geauga County Department on Aging is joining forces with local township trustees and road crews offer trash pickup days for registered seniors 60 years and older.
Once registered, seniors only need to make a phone call one week before the trash pickup cutoff date to be placed on the pickup list.
No more than 10 items per household; small items may be boxed together.
The township road crew and the department on aging cannot enter homes.
All refuse items must be outside by garages, out buildings or in the driveway the evening before the scheduled pickup. Do not leave items curbside.
Trash pickup days are:
Montville Township: Sept. 8 and 9. Sign up by Sept. 1.
Newbury Township: Sept. 9 and 10. Sign up by Sept. 2.
Auburn Township: Sept. 10 and 11. Sign up by Sept. 3.
Chester Township: Week of Sept. 14. Sign up by Sept. 7.
