The American Red Cross continues to experience a severe blood shortage and donors of all blood types – especially type O and those giving platelets – are urged to make an appointment to give now. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Power Reds are available.

Donation appointments may be made by downloading the free Blood Donor app, visitingRedCrossBlood.org or calling 1-800-733-2767.

Volunteers Needed At UH Lake Health

University Hospitals Lake Health is seeking individuals interested in donating their time to volunteer at many of its facilities. All volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

Volunteers are not directly exposed to anyone with COVID-19.
