Teens in grades 5 -12 will explore some of the legends and creatures of the Seven Seas with books, snacks and craft projects.

Book Buddies

Kids practice reading with teen volunteers.

Teen Tech Tutoring Session

July 7 and 14, 2-4 p.m. • Geauga West

Community teens will be available to help with basic smartphone applications, downloading books to devices, basic email set-up and internet searching on computers and computer databases. Appointments last 30 minutes.

Bats are Fantastic

Learn more facts and some myths about this often-misunderstood mammal.

Teen and Tweens Night

Youth in grades 5-12 may join for games, trivia, movies and pizza.

Oceans of Possibilities

July 8, 10 a.m. • Middlefield

Learn all about the aquatic world during a live and interactive adventure with an educator from the Greater Cleveland Aquarium. Watch in the large meeting room or register online to get a Zoom link before the event. All ages.

Dr. Dave Sails the Seven Seas

July 9, 11 a.m. • Geauga West

Join Dr. Dave and the Whiz Bang Science Show to travel along the seven seas with interactive science experiments. All ages.

Crafting BeCAUSE

July 9, 2 p.m. • Bainbridge

Join for adaptive, integrated, creative good times crafting greeting cards in community with others, for others. All are welcome. Any adults with exceptional needs must reserve a spot for the support person, too.

Night at the Drive-In

Family fun night held off-site at Mayfield Road Drive-In, 12100 Mayfield Road, Chardon. Gates open at 7 p.m. for pre-show attractions followed by a double feature.

Sea Shanty 101

UFO’s: Unfinished Objects

Finish a project at the library. Large tables, paper cutters, Ellison dies, access to computers and databases and more will be available.
