The American Red Cross continues to experience a national blood and platelet shortage and asks the public to book a time to give as soon as possible. Donors of all blood types are urgently needed, especially type O blood donors and those giving platelets.
As a thank-you, those who come to give Oct. 1-20, will receive a $15 Amazon.com gift card by email.

Senior Health & Wellness Fair

Geauga YMCA is partnering with University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center to host a Senior Health and Wellness Fair at the Geauga Family YMCA, 12460 Bass Lake Road in Munson Township. Free and open to the public, the event includes free health screenings, gifts and handouts. More than 30 vendors will be in attendance. No registration is required. Help for Mental Illness
NAMI Geauga offers mental health support groups and classes for families and persons affected by mental illness. There is no charge to participants. All offerings are 100% peer led and meet in person or on Zoom.

Life Recovery 12 Step Meeting
Thursdays, 6:30-8 p.m.
The open group for men and women meets weekly at Horizons Christian Assembly, 14920 White Road in Middlefield and welcomes anyone struggling with grief, alcoholism, addiction, depression, co-dependency or any other habit that lessens the quality of life. The group offers support, encouragement, fellowship and discipleship.
