Geauga Auditor Sets Land Sale Date
The Geauga County Auditor’s Office will hold an Auditor’s Land Sale in the courtroom of Geauga County Common Pleas Court Judge Matt Rambo on Oct. 2 at 9:30 a.m.
The Geauga County Auditor’s Office will hold an Auditor’s Land Sale in the courtroom of Geauga County Common Pleas Court Judge Matt Rambo on Oct. 2 at 9:30 a.m.
If more space is required, and weather permitting, the sale will take place on the front lawn of the Geauga County Courthouse, 100 Short Court St., Chardon.
Terms of sale are cash, money order or certified check, and any parcel purchased must be paid for by 3 p.m. on the day of the sale.
For sale, there is one parcel in the (1) parcel in Claridon Township.
Parcel and tax map information marking the property’s location is on display in Geauga County Auditor Charles E. Walder’s office at 231 Main St., Suite 1A, Chardon, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. It also can be found on the auditor’s website: https://auditor.geauga.oh.gov.
Pre-registration is highly recommended. Pre-registration forms and other details of the sale can be found under the “Real Estate” tab on the auditor’s website.
There also will be registration on the day of the sale starting at 8:30 a.m. in the courthouse. All bidders must be current on all real estate taxes owed in the state of Ohio.
