No TVs at Recycling Area
Television sets will no longer be accepted at Munson’s recycling area. Mike Dorka, who was granted permission to accept TVs at Munson’s recycling area, has decided it is too costly to provide this service. He will continue to accept computers and computer parts.
Munson’s recycling area is for Munson Township residents only. The area is patrolled and one may be asked for proof of residency. For more details, call the office at 440-286-9255.
Target Shooting Stopped
The Geauga County Sheriff’s Office recently stopped a Munson resident’s target shooting on Auburn Road after neighbors called that they thought bullets were coming across their property. Deputies found a man firing an AR 15 into a shallow hill and ordered him to cease firing and issued a warning.
If anyone is encountering a similar problem, call the sheriff and township trustees to take action in initiating legislation to stop the discharge of firearms in Geauga County townships.
